Shaima’a is an architectural engineer and software trainer, who has been awarded a fully funded scholarship at the London School of Economics and Politics to study an MSc in Environment and Development.
Shaima’a has used her skills to aid her community’s resilience to contemporary issues like climate change, and her advocacy has reached local, regional and even international heights.
But whilst Shaima‘a’s influence and projects cross borders, she can’t – because the government continue to ignore urgent pleas to evacuate her and 40 other scholars to the UK for reasons beyond their control.
