Yara has been awarded the Gaza-Palestine Postgraduate Taught Scholarship to pursue an LLM in International Law and Global Justice at the University of Sheffield for the 2025/26 academic year.
The ongoing war has severely restricted her movement and access to opportunities, yet Yara remains committed to advocating for the rights of displaced and vulnerable people.
She believes law can be a force for justice, and she is determined to carry that vision from Sheffield to the frontlines of human rights advocacy.
